The Brief

We would like to give thanks for the fantastic partnership and support of the Gujarat Government, their Vibrant Gujarat campaign and to the honourable Chief Minister Narendra Modi whose commitment and vision for the future of Gujarat has been lent to our event.

We are also proud to be part of the Gujarat Government’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations marking 50 years of Gujarat (Swarnim Gujarat). Village India and Experience Gujarat will be held in Leicester's prime venue, De Montfort Hall and Gardens 10th-13th September 2009. De Montfort Hall with its excellent auditorium and Gardens provides a fantastic setting for this truly unique event.

The venue has become famous for its well attended outdoor festivals like the Big Session and Summer Sundae Weekender and now Village India and Experience Gujarat are set to follow in their highly successful footsteps.

We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to Richard Haswell and the excellent team at De Montfort Hall for all their help in getting Village India and Experience Gujarat established as one of the major inter-cultural events in the UK
